What is it?
Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) is a nourishing source of vitamins and minerals beneficial for pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, and postpartum. It also contains an alkaloid called fragarine, which is attributed to helping allow the uterus to contract more powerfully and effectively during labor. Traditionally used as a childbirth tonic, Red Raspberry Leaf has abundant vitamins and minerals, including carotenes, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C complex, niacin, thiamine and trace minerals. Known as the pregnancy herb, Red Raspberry leaves are beneficial for pregnancy nausea, and help with breast milk production and quality.
