Why are there little white specks in my Natural Nipple Butter?

No worries, mama, those pearl-like bits are just natural plant butters, which solidify when they get cold. They will melt in your fingers and be as effective as ever!

    Why lanolin-free?

Some mamas have concerns about wool allergies and pesticide exposure with lanolin, and we strive to make sure Earth Mama products are as worry-free as possible.

What else do mamas use it for?

    • breast pump lube
    • backup diaper cream
    • cover and protect scrapes and abrasions
    • chapped lips, cuticles, chapped cheeks and minor rashes
    • doggie hot spots (and beastie nipples too!)
    • moisturize new tattoos
    • one intrepid mama used it to remove chewing gum from her child's hair!

I love this butter! It's soothing and moisturizing. I only wish I had purchased it sooner.

I wish I had this product when I had my first daughter five years ago! I feel like this is why I was successful at breastfeeding this time for longer than 3 months. I slathered this on after every feeding from the first time my daughter ever nursed in the hospital immediately after birth. After about a month, I no longer even needed it! I keep wondering what to use the rest for and after reading some reviews I think I am going to use it for chapped lips. This Oregon winter wind is harsh on this Southern mommas lips. Thank you for making such amazing products that truly work!

I am just writing to tell you how much I love your Natural Nipple Butter! As crazy as this sounds, I am not currently breast feeding but I did breastfeed both of my children and did use nipple butter. Well my lips and the skin around my mouth have been chapped for over a month now. I could not get them to heal. I ran across this nipple butter and said...oh what the heck. I'll try anything! I put it on last night before I went to bed, woke up, and my lips are 90% healed!!!!!! So I have been putting it on all day and will be continuing to use this on my lips and on the dry chapped parts of my face (from this cold weather). Thank you so, so much!!!!! I just wanted to let you know my testimony. This is not only for breastfeeding mothers :)

    4. Great for chapped skin! star rating

I bought this nipple butter when I planned on nursing, however, my milk never came in so I switched to formula. My baby's cheeks and skin around his nose became so chapped from wiping spit up that his skin was cracking. I used this on his face twice a day and it worked great!

I love the smell of this and that it is all natural. It helped after a small newborn mouth was nursing from my large engorged breast and while we were both figuring out breastfeeding. Now I still use it a few times pec day but not after every feeding.

My only complaint is that it is greasy and stains clothes if I get it on my bra or shirt. Now when I have extra on my finger after using it, I'm rubbing it onto my c section scar. Not sure if it will help with scarring but can't hurt. I will be buying more of this.
